St. Paul's Community Youth Group

What is it?
St. Paul’s community youth group is a Christian group aimed at providing a safe and caring environment where kids can have fun and learn about God.  Our focus is on fun and developing a sense of comradery and care for each member of the group, while at the same time devoting some time each week to a Bible lesson or Bible life application.

What we do?
We have a 4 week rotation with a theme in each of the four weeks, starting with a sports night at the church, a games night at a church member’s home, a misson night and a fun night.  Specific activities are coordinated in advance for each Friday and a calendar is produced usually every 2 to 3 months.

Where do we meet and when?
Friday nights at 7:30 – 9:00 at the church, 5750 King Rd in Nobleton.  Occasionally our plans require an earlier start or later finish and we plan for these in advance.  There are no costs to be a part of youth group although special events may have a per person charge.   We normally meet from Sept to May with a short break over Christmas.

What ages and who can come?
The youth group focuses on grades 7 to 12, although exceptions for mature grade 6’ers or special friends can be made.  All youth are encouraged to bring a friend. The church is in Nobleton and serves the King and Caledon townships.

What about winter snow camp?
On the February 5-7 weekend, 17 young people participated in their third winter snow camp at the Word of Life college campus in Owen Sound. This is a typical snow camp with all the fun indoor and outdoor winter activities, along with Christian teaching and leadership. Not only was it a fun time for everyone, but lives were changed for Jesus. Pictures will be posted soon!

What’s required to join?
Just some basic information about your child, their guardians and health card information.  Waivers need to be signed when travelling away from the church.
