Dealing with Church Antagonists
Again this week, we had challenges with our equipment (but different ones!). We apologize for the quality of the video and audio, but hope that you are encouraged by this service, which includes a message from 3 John on how to deal with people who want to take charge and be antagonists in the church. You can watch the whole worship gathering here, or just the message elsewhere on the channel.
Steering the Vehicle
In this service, we delve into Acts 10 to learn how the church is called to be a vehicle for God’s movement in the world. What does Peter’s encounter with Cornelius teach us about being the church in our time? Have a listen and find out. The message starts at 20:16.
Crossing the Line
It seems that our differences have become greater today, that the gap between us in varying opinions has grown wider. But as followers of Jesus, we are called to bridge that gap, to cross the line, so that we can reach people with the gospel. As you listen to or watch this message, make sure you do so to the end, for if you stop part-way through, you will miss the most important part. It’s based on the beginning of the story of Jesus’ encounter with a Samaritan woman at a well, from John 4.1-9 (with a nod to 2 Kings 17.21-24).
